Briefing

Main Story:
Unknown hostiles, nicknamed Arachnoids, have arrived. They have proved to be better and stronger fighters than Starfleet in personal combat and ship to ship. They are heavily armored beings standing at about seven feet. Each is set on three legs, and they have six arms. Five of the arms end with hands, three long fingers and long thumbs. One arm ends a natural weapon that looks like a long sharp blade.

Avenger has learned that they are in four groups. Two seem to intend on destroying everyone but themselves. The third wants to enslave people. The forth doesn't seem to want to bother with non-Arachnoids.

The third group kidnapped and enslaved most of Avenger, but they have since been able to escape.

Previously:
Avenger followed a probe sent from from the Jonnijijop'kilpu planet, but discovered that the probe came from the future. Jonnijians came from the future saying that they came for their probe, which was accidentally sent into the past. A seemingly Starfleet ship called the Peterson came, captained by Lorn, and said that they were from the future and they came to stop the Jonnijian ship from destroying Earth. They destroyed the ship and went on their way. Meanwhile, an unknown third ship has been detected, who has taken interest in the Peterson. The third ship briefly stopped Avenger's engines, who sent a probe to keep monitoring. The third ship was destroyed by the Peterson.
